Daily School Life of Children
- Schools are generally small. Kids learn to read from special books called hornbooks.
- Kids are taught a trade, usually the one their fathers did, so they could continue the family business when their fathers retired.
Middle Colonies schools are very religious but teach the teachings of multiple religions. If you are a Catholic, you can learn about the Catholic religion. Most schools are private. But, students also learned other subjects so they could get into college with a wider span of knowledge. Girls aren't allowed to attend, unless they are Quakers.
